Applicants to the Iowa State University Professional MBA in Des Moines are normally required to submit a GMAT (or GRE) score report with their application materials. Applicants may petition to waive the GMAT requirement if they meet the following eligibility conditions. Both the academic and professional conditions must be met for GMAT waiver consideration.
- A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.20 from a regionally-accredited U.S. institution or
- An earned postgraduate degree from a regionally-accredited U.S. institution; or
- Satisfactory grades (B or higher) in at least two graduate business courses in an approved pre-MBA or graduate certificate program
- Five years or more of progressive, professional work experiences. (A postgraduate degree may substitute for the five-year experience minimum.)
Applicants to the full-time MBA program must take the GMAT or GRE. Waiver is not an option.
