Iowa State University MBA Voted Best in Des Moines

Des Moines, IA — The Ivy College of Business professional (part-time) MBA program is the best MBA program in Des Moines, according to the annual poll taken by Business Record readers.

Each year, the Business Record asks readers to select the “best of” in many categories, including best CEO, best restaurant, MBA, and other categories. For the first time, the Ivy MBA reached the top vote.

“We are honored at having our program recognized as being the very best in Des Moines,” said Raisbeck Endowed Dean David Spalding. “Our professional MBA program is taught by the same internationally known faculty that teach the full-time MBA on campus in Ames. We offer this program in the heart of Des Moines, in Capital Square. It’s a quality program that offers flexibility for professionals who seek career advancement in about two years.”

About the Ivy MBA in Des Moines:

In today’s business environment, teamwork is essential to success. The Iowa State program builds the team concept into the core curriculum, giving students the opportunity to practice leading a group and capitalizing on student strengths. Diverse student teams are determined for each entering cohort and are maintained throughout the five-semester core.

The Iowa State professional MBA program, which began in 1999, consists of 10 core courses (30 credits) and six elective courses (18 credits). While students can start the program in the spring, summer, or fall, they progress through the core curriculum as a cohort starting in the fall semester.
