Agarwal, Sanjeev is or has been a member of the editorial review board of Journal of International Business Studies, Advances in International Marketing and International Journal of Commerce and Management.

Kim, Stephen currently serves on the editorial review board of the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science and Journal of Business Research.

Laczniak, Russell is a member of the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Public Policy and Marketing, Journal of Current Issues and Research in Advertising, Journal of Advertising and the Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice. He is the immediate-Past Editor of the Journal of Advertising.

Chacko, Thomas has previously served on the editorial review board of the Journal of Managerial Issues and was the associate editor for the International Journal of Management.

DeMarie, Sam has served on the editorial boards of Journal of Management and Academy of Management Executive.

Pol Herrmann won 2001, 2002, and 2005 Outstanding Reviewer Awards in the International Management Division of the Academy of Management.

McElroy, James has co-edited two special issues on work commitment, one for Human Resource Management Review published in 2001 and one for the Journal of Business Research in 1993. Jim serves as a reviewer for a number of journals and sits on the editorial board of the Journal of Vocational Behavior, the Journal of Managerial Issues and the Journal of Labor Research.

Morrow, Paula serves on the editorial review boards of the Journal of Organizational Behavior and the Journal of Vocational Behavior.  She has co-edited two special issues of Human Resource Management Review and the Journal of Business Research. 

Schwab, Andreas is a member of the editorial board of the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal (since 2008) and Journal of Small Business Management (since 2004).

Werbel, James is on the editorial board for Human Resource Management, and editor for special topics on work and family for Human Resource Management Review.


 

Other Professional Information

Sanjeev Agarwal has conducted classes, study tours, research, and consulting in several countries in North America, Europe and Asia. He has studied marketing challenges faced by Midwest agri-business firms in India, China, and Argentina. He is also helping farmer groups in understanding the technical and marketing feasibility of producing value-added processed foods from soybeans. Most recently, he has also involved in a multi-disciplinary project to help create sustainable rural livelihoods in developing countries.

Deanne Brocato has been an active member of the Academy of Marketing Science as a reviewer, author, session chair and track chair since 2003. She has served as the AMS Doctoral Student Liaison (2005 to 2008), responsible for organizing events for doctoral students at the annual conference, facilitating mentoring opportunities, gathering feedback from doctoral students regarding their perceptions of the Academy and its programs, and providing direct feedback to the Executive Council of the Academy of Marketing Science. She has also worked with other organizations and has served as the AMA DocSIG Chair-Elect from 2004 to 2006 and is currently working with the AMA ServSIG as the Mentoring Officer-Elect.

Cross, Samantha is a recipient of several awards, including the ACR/Sheth Foundation Dissertation Award, UC Irvine's Ray Watson Doctoral Fellowship, the American Marketing Association Foundation (AMAF) Valuing Diversity Ph.D. Scholarship and the Jane K. Fenyo Best Paper Award for Student Research.

Laczniak, Russell is the former President (2000) and Treasurer (1997-1998) of the American Academy of Advertising. Dr. Laczniak co-chaired the American Marketing Association Marketing and Public Policy Conference in 2002.
Kay Palan is former chair of the ISU Center for Teaching Excellence Advisory Board, and is actively involved in other service activities for both ISU and the marketing profession.

Wong, John was the team leader and program coordinator in management education and training programs in Eastern Europe (Czech Republic and Slovakia), and Russia funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development and U.S. Information Services.

Herrmann, Pol is a visiting professor in the Executive MBA at IDE (Escuela de Dirección de Empresas) in Ecuador and at the Graduate School of Business Administration (EGADE) at the Monterrey TEC (ITESM) in Mexico.

James McElroy is University Professor of Management and former Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs for the College of Business at Iowa State University. Jim has served as Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs, Director of the Industrial Relations Center, and as Chair of the Departments of Management, Marketing, and Transportation and Logistics. His commitment of service to the University was recognized by being named University Professor of Management in 2003 one of only 35 on campus.

Paula Morrow holds the Max S. Wortman, Jr. chair in management and is a university professor.  From 2003 to 2010 she served the University as its NCAA Faculty Athletics Representative and has served as a director of several programs (industrial Relations, MBA). 

Van Auken, Howard was a William J. Fulbright Scholar and Visiting Professor at the Instituto de Technologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (Mexico) (ITESM) in 1989 and a William J. Fulbright Scholar and Visiting Professor at Masarykova Univeszity v Brne (Czech Republic) in 1994. In 2001, he was a Visiting Professor at the Consortium for International Business in Paderno, Italy. He has developed business programs in Russia, Slovakia, Malaysia, Mexico, Spain, France, Portugal, Ukraine, Canada, and Czech Republic. He is a Past President of the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
