Full-time MBA Admission
Full-time students may apply for the fall semester. While not absolute minimums, full-time students generally score above 600 on the GMAT and have at least a 3.4 undergraduate GPA. Work experience is not mandatory, but is strongly preferred.
Part-time MBA Admission
Part-time students may apply to begin the MBA program in the fall, spring, or summer semesters. While not absolute minimums, part-time students generally score above 500 on the GMAT and have at least a 3.0 undergraduate GPA. Full-time employment is required for admission into the part-time program.
Application
Students with diverse undergraduate backgrounds are sought. There are no pre-requisites for admission. The application requirements are identical for the full-time and the part-time students.

Interview (by invitation for full-time applicants)
Individual attention is valued at Iowa State University. Participation in MBA classes is highly encouraged. To foster interaction between students and faculty, class size is limited to 35 – 40 students per full-time and part-time core classes.
