The Courses for the 30-credit program will include
15 hours of accounting courses* from the offerings listed below:

Acct 583 - Accounting for Strategic Management
Acct 584 - Accounting Information Systems
Acct 585 - Tax Implications of Business Decisions
Acct 586 - Advanced Federal Taxation
Acct 588 - Governmental & Non-Profit Accounting
Acct 591 - Fraud Examination and Prevention
Acct 594 - Financial Statement Analysis & Valuation
Acct 595 - Advanced Accounting Problems
Acct 596 - International Accounting
Acct 597 - Advanced Auditing and Assurance Services
Acct 598 - Financial Accounting: Theory & Contemporary Issues (required)
12 hours in non-accounting courses*
3 hours in communication courses*
2 hours of creative component (optional starting Fall 2007)
The twelve hours of non-accounting courses can be used to develop a strong secondary field, such as management information systems or finance. Students may also develop breadth by taking courses across the different disciplines
*One 3-credit-hour course in the program must focus on international topics.
