Human Computer Interaction (HCI)

As the use of computers becomes increasingly important, the study of Human Computer Interaction will emerge as one of the most dynamic and important areas of research. Interdisciplinary in the extreme, this emerging field will have an impact on nearly every area of human endeavor.

This interdepartmental Masters and Ph.D. degree was created to train researchers and practitioners to understand how humans and computers interact in a business environment. For example, students can explore what kind of effect the development of new hardware and user interfaces affect the humans utilizing these new products.
