Academic History PhD, University of Alabama, 1982 MBA, Virginia Polytechnic University and State University, 1976 BA, William Penn College, 1974 Expertise Strategic Marketing Management Research Methodology International Business Trade Policy Issues Professional Activities Dr. Wong joined the faculty at Iowa State University in 1980 and has taught graduate courses in international business, international marketing, marketing management and new product policy and management. At the undergraduate level, he has taught strategic marketing management, principles of marketing, international marketing, consumer behavior, retail management, industrial purchasing and health services marketing. Dr. Wong's research has been published in the Journal of Consumer Research, Academy of Management Review, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of Health Care Marketing, Journal of Professional Services Marketing, International Journal of Management, and Psychological Reports as well as various conference proceedings. Dr. Wong was the team leader and program coordinator in management education and training programs in Eastern Europe (Czech Republic and Slovakia), and Russia funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development and U.S. Information Services. He received the Thomas Thielen Award from the Office of Student Affairs at Iowa State University in 1999. | |||
