A business degree is your ticket to opportunity. Rise to the top of a large company. Start your own business and make it grow. Work for a nonprofit, university, or government. With a business degree all of that is possible – and more!

What’s it like to be a business major? What’s it like to work in a particular industry? The College of Business at Iowa State University wants to help you find out.

The Young Women in Business Conference is designed especially for females in grades 9 through 12, their parents, teachers, and and high school counselors. At this conference you can expect to:

  • Explore majors in business
  • Learn about career opportunities
  • Meet and ask questions of business faculty members in each major
  • Hear directly from professionals working a variety of business fields
  • Interact with female business students from Iowa State about their experiences and what they hope to accomplish

Are you interested in internships, study abroad opportunities, and college life? It’s all here. You’ll learn what to expect throughout your college career. We’ll also give you information about getting accepted into college and how to finance a college degree.

Those who attend have the opportunity to learn more about the college’s career services, undergraduate advising, and college faculty. You can also sit in on industry and faculty sessions to see firsthand the impact of a business education.

Join us for the Young Women In Business Conference!
