Contemporary Issues in Accounting Conference

Overview
The faculty of the Accounting Department will be hosting the Seventh Annual Contemporary Issues in Accounting Conference on Friday, December 18, 2009 in the Gerdin Business Building. Eight credits of continuing professional education on a variety of topics will be included.  We ask that you pre-register for your desired sessions so that we can be certain to have space available.

Who Should Attend:
Under Iowa requirements, all active certified public accountant (CPA) certificate holders must now meet continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.

25th Anniversary Distinguished Scholar Series

In honor of the college's 25th anniversary in 2009-2010, each academic department is hosting a distinguished scholar who will visit the college to interact with its students, faculty, and staff, and make a presentation open to the university community. These visits are scheduled throughout the year.
