Iowa Falls Business Chosen for America’s SBDC Iowa Award

Donna’s Dog Grooming and Boarding chosen as Small Business of the Month

AMES, Iowa – America’s SBDC Iowa is pleased to announce that Donna Cretin, owner, Donna’s Dog Grooming and Boarding, Iowa Falls, is the winner of the SBDC’s Business of the Month Award.

Stefanie Koenig, regional director of the North Central Iowa SBDC, Fort Dodge says, “I am so excited for Donna and how quickly her business is growing. She truly knows the time and effort it takes to run and grow a successful small business.”

With 29 years of experience, Donna Cretin finally found the perfect location for her business southeast of Iowa Falls. After signing papers to open Donna’s Dog Grooming and Boarding on a Wednesday in May 2014, Donna had her first boarders that Friday, and the business has been booming ever since. Her Eldora, Iowa Falls, and Wellsburg clients followed her and new clients came from Waterloo, Des Moines, Ames, Dyke and other surrounding communities. The additional six runs she added were rented before they were even completed.
