Young Women in Business
The College hosted 292 high school students, parents, and business
teachers on Monday, October 21 for the 4th annual Young Women in Business conference. The feedback from participants was extremely positive. A mother, who is both an ISU alum and a current employee of Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, brought her daughter and had this to share, “I attended as a parent of a high school student and was very impressed with the breadth and depth of the topics that you were able to cover in a short amount of time. The 4 ladies that I brought all came away with a very positive experience and couldn’t be more excited about ISU.”
The YWIB planning committee would like to thank all of you who helped to make this a successful event. Numerous hours and a great deal of effort were dedicated by many College faculty and staff who took on planning, presenting, promoting, designing, set-up, and other various roles. We greatly appreciate everyone’s efforts!
